There is a bus service to the city centre. 76A. But it’s only hourly. I walked in (15 mins) and bused back from CITY CENTRE bus station behind Tescos

9 times out of 10 the ticket machine is out of order, so try to visit during office hours.

The quickest way to London is by changing at Newport, Wales. The few direct trains meander via Worcester and Oxford.

Apply online for a BITE card to give you 20% discount at Pumpkin. You can also use it at other outlets like Upper Crust and Burger King on Stations.
