Touristic place but plenty of souvenirs. Everything in one place. If you want to feel the local atmosphere it's better to go to Indian Market - you can buy there spices, perfumes and many more.

The most expensive market in whole Myanmar. Have a look, but don't buy any jewelry here. 20-30% discount is normal thing, so you can easily get it.
