Fun! Heard lion roar, butterflies flew around us and landed on us in butterfly exhibit. Made great memories for our family.

Much better than it was 10 years ago, but still a small-town zoo. The animals are out more in the mornings and any time the weather cools down.

The butterfly exhibit is really neat! It's included in admission so it's a must see when visiting Zoo Boise in the summer.

Not too impressive. Very small. Went in the middle of June and there are either no animals in their location because they've taken them to Madagascar? They hype up exhibits...but their not much to see
