The stadium was named after LaVell Edwards, who had 257 career victories, led BYU to a national championship in 1984, and coached Heisman Trophy winner Ty Detmer in 1990.

At the beginning of every home game, the BYU Drumline performs in the Nw corner of the stadium. Starts approximately 40 min before kick-off. Awesome show!!!

There's more room to move around at the top of the stadium. Great place for rowdy kids.
