Lovely, sensitive urban park around a wastewater treatment plan, looking out over the super gross creek. It's really lovely.

Great hidden gem behind the waste treatment facility. Bring a picnic basket (I'm not joking or being sarcastic!)

This is the best kept secret in Northern Greenpoint. Amazing little park with access to the water that loops around the water treatment plant. There are even blueberry bushes here!

This entire space was designed by a sculptor & is full of hidden stories. Find out more with the scavenger hunt: http://on.nyc.gov/11eeWJy

OK, not ON a boat, but some of its walkways are boat-inspired, as an homage to the (v. polluted) Newtown Creek's past glory as an industrial waterway. We once saw it used as a kayak landing. #BADidea

The creation of a nature walk on the Newtown Creek Wastewater Treatment plant’s property provides one of the only continuous public access points to Newtown Creek.
