Really stunning architecture, but Hengshan group went a little overboard with the restoration. If you’re familiar with antiques, you’ll notice way too many replacement of features.

Stunning restored 1936 residence of Eric Moller who was a pre-WWII British shipping tycoon in Shanghai.

Old wing is a well kept mansion with historical and new elements. New wing has semi private rooms for afternoon tea.

Tycoon Eric Moller was one of the richest men in old Shanghai- with all the trappings that went with it: membership in the Shanghai Race Club and a gorgeous, fantasy mansion in the French Concession
