A delightful journey into the culture and nature of America’s largest river system. Walk aboard historic steamboats, interact with wildlife (stingray petting), learn about river history & folklore.

Takes a good two hours to see the entire museum. Great family experience!

Fun place for any ages. All kinds of animals and a rotating exhibit upstairs.

Pretty cool to check out. Short 4D movies are kind of cool

Very disappointing. Guide looked at me like I was crazy when I stopped her description of all of the aquarium attractions to ask about historical information about the river.

Parking is free, so this is a great place to drop your car off if you're in the Dubuque for a day trip.

My kids can't get enough of this place. Every time we visit we see something new.

This museum continues to grow and add more exhibits all the time...so much more to see than the last time we were here - you almost run out of time to see it all. Definitely worth the admission cost!
