It’s really worth getting from Chicago up to Oak Park to visit this historical house. A great combination is to visit also the Unity Church just 3 blocks away. Also a good idea to pre book online.

Wright was a genius in many ways and this house shows it quite well. Go visit when you are in Chicago, it’ll be worth it!!

Frank Lloyd Wright's designed and built "Home and Studio" in 1889 when he was 22. He raised 6 children there before moving away in 1909. The home was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1976.

It's an incredible experience walking through some of the early and personal work of FLW. If you are in Chicago, make the trip to tour Wright's home and studio.
