Excellent access via 199 bus or train from Manchester. Shuttle service to entrance hut and main house. Beautiful gardens and grounds to explore.

Park warden informed me waste of time attempting using mobile. Practically no signal anywhere on estate. Unless wish climb to top of cage.

You have to wait to be seated in the tearoom, (no signs saying this)! If you like earl grey tea have a cold drink !
