The administrative residence and main workplace of the King of Belgium, where guests are received and banquets are held. Did you know that its facade is 50% longer than that of Buckingham Palace?

Since 1965 the Royal Palace is open to the public from end of July till September. Go check Jan Fabre's Heaven of Delight in the Hall of Mirrors, an artwork made of 1.6 million jewel-scarab wing cases

What a beautiful place in Brussels! Take some time to chill in the parc, if you are lucky to get some of the rare sun ;)

No longer the primary residence of the royal family. An impressive room has its ceiling clad with the wing cases of 1.4 million Thai jewel beetles.

C'est un univers qu'on ne soupçonne pas de l'extérieur. Malgré l'ambiance froide qui y règne vu la grandeur des pièces, chacune d'entre elles vous plonge dans des époques différentes. A faire !

Journées portes ouvertes en été. Pratique pour voir ce qu'il se trouve de l'autre côté des murs!

The Royal Palace was built on the site of the former Palace of the Dukes of Brabant which was destroyed by fire in 1731. Started in 1820 under the reign of King William, it was modified in 1904

Every year the Palace is open to the public from early August to September and entrance is free! It's not the Belgian Royal Family's residence, all State ceremonies take place here.
