The station opened on 22 January 1983. At the time of opening the station had the longest escalators in the southern hemisphere.

Escalators are scarily steep but love the vintage photos exhibition of Parliament Bldg!:)

The trains always are on the time of their own sometimes it says 2 mins to go and the train would have left
