Be careful if you want to get to T5 from Hatton Cross by bus. Traffic means it can take over 30 minutes. Go to Central Bus station instead and switch to the Tube (which is free between terminals)

Miserable portal to/from Heathrow and beyond. Ideally this should be a station taking people around the perimeter in PODs like the ones in T5. Free travel zone starts from there but NOT for the Tube.

Great spot to check the approaching planes. For those on their way to the airport (or from the airport), the tube is NOT part of the Heathrow free travel zone, but the buses are.
