The Salvation Army was designed by Voorhees, Gmelin & Walker in 1927. This 2 story building w/ its tile hip roof housed classrooms and a gym for the locals. It is part of the BAM Historic District.

If you arrive early, there is a very civilized lounge downstairs with a small bar. It does smell a bit like an airport, but one of those fancy new terminals, not an old musty one...
