Forget something for the trip like headphones? Ask the counter clerk inside the station gift store. They may not be Beats or Bose, but for $16 they do the trick. Bottled water and magazines available.

Central station doesn't have any lockers! If you need to leave your staff for a few hours, you can do it at a hostel near the station, but I would not recommend it. It is unsafe.

Time to kill? Walk across the park to the colorful Ivanhoe Pub and enjoy a $4.25 draft beer. Live music, televised sports, no cover.

Taxi stand is to the left after exiting the station - no good signage to tell you that!

Here for a trip to the U.S.? Bolt Bus / Amtrak (Bus/Train) / Greyhound are your best bets. Book online for better prices (Ahead of schedule).

Des trains pour Toronto, Calgary, Kamloops et Seattle. Pour l'entrée aux USA (Amtrak Cascades), venez au moins 1h30 avant le départ du train.

Bring pen for customs forms and be prepared to fill them out in line. If wanting to sit on specific side of the train, tell the agent at the end of that line as you're handing over your passport/forms

Vancouver to seattle for the views - double check the schedule to make sure you get the train not the bus - schedule info is very confusing :(
