I stayed here to climb up the half dome next day. (takes 10hrs for round trip, so gotta start it 5a.m.) except for pricy places in the valley, this was the cheapest place.

Nice Rooms, take the YARTS bus to go to the valley. Good restaurant, you get 10% if you come here by public transportation!

the handmade keys are a little tricky. ask at the reception for help. and if you arrive late, the names of the cabins are outside at the balconies not near the door, so watch out from a lower level.

Stay at the double bedrooms with private bathroom if you can. It's like a trip to the past - to the past of some eccentric doctor. So cool!
