Cosy 17th century pub with slate floors, oak beams & cast iron range. Great base from which to visit Beatrix Potter's Hill Top. Great real ales.

Lovely friendly pub with an open fire, tasty food and comfy rooms. Very dog friendly, allowed in the bar (not in the restaurant though) and the rooms.
