日本統治時代の 1914 に赤司製酒場として建てられた酒造工場。1922 年の専売制度の成立後は台湾総督府専売局の台中酒工場となる。戦後は菸酒公賣局の台中酒廠となり、1998 年まで稼働。

I went during a public holiday and the place was almost deserted. Otherwise, it should be cozy to spend some time there.
