In the expositions of the museums you'll see priceless paintings by the great masters of the Renaissance, Spanish and Flemish painters.

Madrid amazes with its abundance of architectural monuments, museums, galleries, squares, boulevards. Popular places for walking are the Plaza Mayor with the sculpture of King Philip III and the Puerta del Sol with the famous Statue of the Bear and the Strawberry Tree. The majestic building of the royal palace, constructed in the XVIII century, is currently used only for protocol events. Other equally interesting examples of Madrid's modern architecture include: the Picasso tower and the skyscrapers in the Quatro Torres district.
