Barcelona: A European centre of beach recreation and cultural life
The Spanish city of Barcelona is one of the most important tourist destinations of the European routes. Here you can relax your body and soul. The city has a developed cultural life, and the entire coast line is occupied by well-kept beaches. In Barcelona, there is a very good operating metro system, its network totaling 11 lines. Some lines go outside the city, connecting it with the suburbs. Public and tourist buses run around the city. The traffic never stops, even at night! There are several routes of the night bus Nitbus. The best viewing platforms are located on the nearest mountains – Montjuic and Tibidabo, where the tram line, funicular and cable car lead. For getting around in comfort, you can call a taxi or rent a car.
