Took our three year old grandson here. His highlight was the panda, after that tiger. If you're looking for something to do in Edinburgh with little ones, and the weather is good, this is it.

Fantastic zoo. One of the most varied in the UK. The penguin parade is not to be missed.

A good mix of animals with some not often found in other zoos. You have to book a slot for the Panda which is a great idea as it means it isn't overly crowded and you have a good view.

Smart new enclosure for the Meerkats. Very good coffee at the penguin coffee house. Great slides for the kids... Membership is great value if you visit a lot.

Have to say I thought the zoo all looked very run down+in need of some tlc! Was great to see The Panda's & Koalas, but we were sadly disappointed with alot of it! The Chimps had a lovely enclosure!

One of the coolest exhibits in the park is... the ants! They have two terrariums and walk over a rope carrying leaves to their nest. Very fun to watch.

Edinburgh Zoo is the only zoo in the UK where you can see Koalas! Make sure you pay a visit to our furry friends and say G’Day!
