Food, service and ambiance dismal, especially given the exorbitantly high price. Bring your own chili because they charge extra for a pinch of it. No surprise that the place was empty by 20:30.

One of the best traditional sukiyaki restaurants in Kyoto. Reservation around 3 Days in advance.

The place for sukiyaki or shabu-shabu. They make a vegetarian version for the vegetarians. The place needs some freshening up. Caters mostly to Japanese people. Some of the staff speak English.

明治6年、寺町三条にて創業。創業当時の佇まいで最高級の牛肉が味わえます。すき焼き極上コースなどはそれなりの値段ですが、お昼のコースなら6,000円ぐらいでいただけます。
