The pizza is decent but not so great that it makes Gialina a destination. Also to note, they make the crunchy thin thin kind. If doughy is more your jam, this isn't the place for you.

Excellent pizzas and friendly service. Get there early as if you don’t have a reservation as tables fill up fast.

Stellar pizza. We ordered the one with mushrooms/lemon with a gluten-free crust. I’m not gluten-free, but I would venture to say it’s the best gluten-free pizza in SF...

It’s worth a trek to Diamond Heights to score one of Gialina’s droolworthy pizzas. We love the Amatriciana, which stars a cast of tomato, pancetta, chilies, a farm egg and pecorino cheese.
