Nice big open fire, good atmosphere. No food in the evening but you're welcome to bring in chips from over the road.

Soul less establishment with edgy bar staff. Poor selection of cask ales. Seems to cater for the middle aged, middle class locals well. If you are a tourist look elsewhere.
