After refurbish the terminal is acceptable and can't beat the convenience. But it's hard to get between T1 and T2, free bus is once per hour with 20m time. Metro Line 10 would need a 500m walk.

Pretty good japanese tonkatsu place on 2nd floor. Godiva shop also serves nice soft serve ice cream!

If you’re in any gate from T01 to T08, make sure you eat a decent meal either at home or in the check-in area. There are only 2 small places to use by the gates.

Be carefull to not get lost there 😂 .. its a big airport and mostly domestic flight in terminal 1 .. and there isnt that many travelers .. looks like abandoned palace .

Much nicer and less crowded then the Pudong airport. Why not all the airports in China could be like this ?

It's a little bit old and shabby but they are more efficient here than in Pudong airport
