Since the creation of South and Hongqiao station, this one has essentially been left to its own devices. Everything about it, including the people; feels like you’ve stepped back in time 20 years.

Buy your tickets in advance! Use 铁路12306 or come a day earlier to get it so tickets don’t run out. A few people cut in line and claim they’ll be late. Don’t let them, they didn’t follow my tip. Haha

Relatively easy to get to any of the gates and entrances. Recommended north entrance if you're into avoiding the big crowds. There is Starbucks ok either side.

The ticket office is an absolute fuck show. About 300m from the entrance, it has its own security check, & the workers aren’t helpful, even WITH speaking Mandarin. Pick up your tickets somewhere else.

Avoid the guys offering to provide rides. Just go outside and grab a cab or Didi. Way more reasonable price.

Tàu cao tốc Thượng Hải-Tô Châu 45 tệ/ng tốc độ 300km/h đi tầm 27 phút.Nói chung là rất rất đông,phải chuẩn bị tinh thần vừa kéo vali vừa chạy để kịp lên tàu.

Siêu đông đúc,nhà chờ chia làm 8 khu mà lúc nào cũng trong tình trạng quá tải,hàng quán ăn cũng tg đối nhiều nhg đắt hơn ở ngoài 1 chút,từ chai nước cũng đắt hơn 1-2 tệ
