People will try to nag you to join the minibuses, they will leave sooner but it costs 50000vnd versus walking a few meters out to the right of the station 30000vnd

RIP OFF ALERT: Take a local bus instead of all the drivers offering bus rides to Sapa! (Sapa - 28,000 VND, Bac Ha 60,000 VND). Sapa busses depart from sign on left of exit. Bac Ha at end of street.

The aggressive 'mini bus' drivers tend to stack as many people as possible in their not so mini bus for 200.000 dong per person. Better negotiate a taxi to go to Sa Pa!
