More an overhyped farmers market-cum-flea market than anything else. The architecture (former hangars) is the real draw, unless you're dying to stock up on veggies and cheese.

The market is amazing, with 5 halls, each with their own theme (such as meat, fish etc). Surrounded by a marketplace full of tables. I was pleasantly surprised of the quality and sheer size of it.

One of the largest markets in Europe,placed in old,rebuild zeppelin hangars.A unique place to see when in Riga.Fresh meat, fish, seasonal fruits and vegetables and other things. A must see place.
