Brabourne was the venue of the second Filmfare Awards ceremony. The 26th International Film Festival of India was held at the Brabourne. The ground has played host to a few Music bands. Awwal Number!!

This is India's first permanent sporting venue. Apart from cricket, the ground has played host to tennis and football matches as well as music shows and concerts.
