One of Madeira's oldest hotels, refitted about 5 years ago. Small gym. 2 pools. Great customer service. Adequate buffet breakfast; Brits bring your own big tea mug. Liptons & thimble coffee cups only.

Amazing spa center (jacuzzi, Turkish hammam, sauna, swimming pool, massage, beauty salon), good room service and scenic view from the balcony 😍
