The view from the dorm is great! Not worth getting a private room for 4 times the price, dorm view is better anyway! Beautiful location, good but pricey food.

A very beautiful view of the surrounding mountains from the eating area. The guesthouse is clean and very big and the staff can speak English too. Food here is good as well.

Halfway's charm lies in the social vibe and great view from the dining deck. The fact that the rooms/beds aren't the best and service varies won't matter - everyone stops by Halfway anyway.
