They have a excellent scenic view and the food is very good and they have great huckleberry ice cream and rhubarb pie.

It's a rustic, 100-year-old mountain lodge; don't expect the Ritz. But the staff is friendly, the views beautiful and the hummingbirds plentiful. It's charming in its own way. Meals are worth a stop.

It's a trip back. Love the atmosphere, hospitality, grounds and rooms. It's hurting in some spots for a facelift, but I think it's part of the charm.

Call ahead and find out what soups they are offering. I've been going here for years and cannot get enough of the Pumpkin Curry soup. Their corn bread is to die for! I often have it for dessert!

Haunted by the couple who built the inn in 1917, Ethel and Gordon Mace. Stephen King was a guest here and donated one of his keys for the inn's extensive key collection.

Eat anything and absorb the history. Amazing place, bring old keys to leave behind.
