Castle built in the late 13th century. Used for Prince of Wales investiture in 1969. Multiple levels via spiral stairs.

Fairy tale-like castle, with "treasure hunt" for kids (but don't expect any reward for it)

Excellent value entry, superb museum. Fantastic for losing time, spent 4hrs here. Take the Harbour Boat trip after, really rounds the day off.will

Huge indomitable fortress. Scene of Prince Charles's investiture as Prince if Wales. Great fun exploring all the walls and towers.
