If you didn't bring enough USD to Zanzibar it's hard to get them even at banks. Best bet is to get out a wheelbarrow load of Tsh and exchange them for dollars at some of the better places in Stone Tn

Be careful with the touts on the beach. Some are genuine, others not. Most are a nuisance though making any beach visit less enjoyable.
