Unique decor/history and food. Tip - if you want the Big Steak, order early it takes at least 30 minutes once the order is in.

The Buckhorn is Denver's oldest restaurant and has been serving Old West Fare since 1893! The house specialty is the Rocky Mountain Oyster!

The long member in the top left corner that resembles a cane is actually an elk penis. The bartender would literally beat ruthless customers that acted like “dicks” with one.

Saddle up at the original bar located upstairs and ask for Buffalo Bill’s signature cocktail: bourbon & apple juice. Talk history and ghost stories with Martin, the ace manning the counter.

The Buckhorn boasts the best Rocky Mountain Oysters in the West. Take a seat, swallow your pride (& some), and brave the culinary frontier. This swinging sirloin actually tastes similar to calimari.
