Timber-framed medieval guildhall that’s still used for its original purpose today as well as hosting events such as craft fairs. Well worth a visit, though the entrance fee isn’t cheap for its size.

Not worth the £6/adult entry fee. See the pictures on Foursquare and feel satisfied that you saw it all.

Rehearsal venue for the York Mystery Plays 2012. See them live in the Museum Gardens in a purpose-built, outdoor auditorium between 2-27 August 2012.www.yorkmysteryplays2012.com
