This museum is not just a collection of artefacts but one where the displays complement stories about people, places and events in Bristol's past and present. Excellent wee cafe too!

Outstanding museum with a lot of interactive displays for all ages. Does not shy away from looking at the more controversial aspects of Bristol 's history and encourages debate. Highly recommended!

Great free museum, well designed to engage children and adults alike. Currently with an excellent Wallace and Gromit exhibition. Worth popping along to.

Fantastic exhibits that are jammed packed with visuals telling you everything you could ever want to know about Bristol. Almost a bit overstimulating but no worries.

Am Samstag tobt hier ab mittags das Leben. Erst mal viele Skater beim Üben ihrer Kunststücke, am Abend dann volle Bars und Restaurants, best place to be!

It's a really interesting and quirky museum. Really enjoyed the non permanent chocolate exhibition as it told the locals stories vividly.
