You can't get into the house, this is a residential building, inside which there are 52 apartments, 4 offices and 19 terraces, 3 of them are common. Despite the fact that the building is popular among tourists, renting an apartment here is inexpensive, because the house was built for ordinary residents of Vienna. The rental price varies from 500 euros per month, and there are always a lot of people willing. Due to the popularity of apartments, there are long lines, and many of those who move out immediately transfer the rent to relatives or friends. This results in an endless circle that is difficult to break. But if you succeed, you will become part of a whole community.
This is what Hundertwasser wanted: people being in harmony with nature and communicating with each other, spending time in the rooftop garden or on shared terraces.
