A city with multicolored houses, hundreds of cyclists and an authentic 17th century port in the center. Copenhagen is a must-see if you want to experience the culture of Denmark. The Little Mermaid Statue, Nyhavn, free lands of Christiania and much more can be found in our guides catalog. And we asked Marcus Wallinder, Swedish photographer, to share a series of pictures of Copenhagen buildings to introduce you to the architecture of the city.

"Dating back to 1167, Copenhagen is oozing with history and you can spot famous buildings everywhere you go like the Round Tower and the castle of Rosenborg. But what I enjoy most is strolling through the narrow alleyways, with a coffee in hand, finding new places to discover."
